We're looking for another systems administrator to join our IT
team.

This is not a telecommute job. The job is based in the UK, but
I thought I'd pass it along to CLUG anyway.

established team responsible for providing IT support for over 1000
people and over 700 systems within the Mathematical Institute at the
University of Oxford.

Reporting to the Head of ICT, your primary responsibilities will
include front line desktop user support as well as assisting in
maintaining departmental IT systems and in particular being involved
in several of the upcoming system and web development projects. As
part of an IT team of seven you will work both individually as well
as collaborating with other team members. The IT team collectively
supports system security, upgrades and development, as well as
providing general IT support in person and via an email trouble
ticketing system.

With proven expertise in the above areas you will often be expected
to work on your own initiative and excellent organizational and
communication skills will be needed for dealing with staff at all
levels in the University. The department is committed to ongoing
personal and professional development and the successful applicant
will be encouraged to undergo further training as appropriate.

This is a permanent position. The exact duties will be determined by
the successful candidate's level of experience and expertise.
