We're looking for a quickThinker with great personality who also happens to be a PHP developer.

Cape Town based quickOnline is a specialist digital marketing company that creates & manages online reputations by harnessing the power of the Internet. Its proprietary consultation model creates platforms to digitally connect, innovate, create, interact & grow through a process referred to as the Quickening.

Requirements:

     - 3-5 years solid experience in web programming using PHP and MySQL
     - experience with modular coding
     - a strong understanding of OO and PHP5
     - experience on CakePHP as a platform
     - experience with Wordpress and Joomla as open-source systems
     - experience with database design / architecture
     - capable of contributing to team, yet sufficient and proactive enough to manage own projects
     - capable of designing projects from brief and can take them to completion
     - worked with MySQL 5 databases
     - worked with JavaScript
     - strong HTML and CSS skills
     - understands XSS and SQL injection attacks

Advantageous:

     - familiar with subversion and a bug tracking system
     - experience working on Linux LAMP stacks
     - able to set up own LAMP environment
     - understand web application best practices and browser compatibility
