Being in the habit of holding a one-sided view of transactions never
makes sense but there is no arguing that it is a profitable attitude
to hold when:

. a lot of HR departments are under pressure to staff up

. the IT budget can absorb the natural consequences of
     reducing computer programmers to two-dimensional
     skills-matrices

Unfortunately all of this stops being true during an economic downturn.

It is also a habit which is not easy to change when you're under
pressure.

That said, I'm sure most of us would love to hear how it goes if
anyone took a chance on this opportunity.

There's a crying need for more folk in Cape Town who see their role
primarily as helping to bring the right people together rather than
keeping the wrong people out.
