Hide the console output while kernel booting.
Fix BIOS splash screen with a graphic of design/choice.

When you cut down the kernel etc. and run something like Gentoo with
the absolute minimum installed, you might achieve that, but I found
lately that the BIOS is what is taking time to boot.
