[Clug-work] Systems Administrator position in Grahamstown

Rhodes University is looking for the services of a Systems Administrator to
join a small existing team.

The Information Technology Division's systems development and administration
section is tasked with installing, managing and maintaining all the
University's central ICT infrastucture (mail, proxy, web, database,
authentication, ERP, etc).  This includes a diverse range of systems,
ranging from FreeBSD and Linux to Netware and Windows Server.  Given the
small size of the University, this team also manages some aspects of the
University's internal network and telephone infrastructure.

Things that are important to us are a good working knowledge of one or more
of the server operating systems in use at the University (we tend to be
open-source-centric, so preference will be given here) and a background in
admistering large, diverse multi-user environments.  A willingness to
continually learn new skills is essential, and an interest in all things
ICT-related useful.
