[Clug-work] DMS (flat filesystem based)

Hi all,
I am currently evaluating web-based Document Management Systems for our
company.  Something simple.
To ease backup, version control, security and making content
searchable.  Mostly MS/OO-Office files and PDFs.
I looked at a couple and KnowledgeTree (community version) seems to fit
our needs more or less.

Anyone have some handson experience with DMS for small companies.
(it would be nice to have something that used a flat filesystem in the
backend, not DB)
