[Clug-work] Junior developer position

TruSoft Software is looking for a junior developer to work on an  
exciting project.

Most of the work will be Unix shell scripting, Perl and Oracle PL/SQL.
The project also offer possibilities to expand into other areas  
including Java, C# and PHP.

Requirements:
- a Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and the basic cli commands.
- Some programming experience, C/C++ and Perl would be beneficial.
- Understand relational databases and some SQL knowledge.
- Be able to work well in a team
- Fast, keen learner
- Be able to work without supervision
- Know how to use and create documentation.

About the project:
The candidate will be part of a team of developers from different  
vendors working on a database project for a corporate.  The team work  
on site at the client.
The system is based on an Oracle database running on Sun Solaris  
servers.  Collected data is parsed by Perl scripts and loaded into  
the database.
PHP Web front ends and Java and C# clients are used to view and  
manipulate the data.

The position offer the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in new  
and interesting technologies.  The project also span a broad variety  
of technologies and platforms.

This is quite a unique project.  In 2000 we were told by some  
international players that it cannot be done and we did it, so be  
prepared to push the envelope.

This is a permanent contract with a probation period of 3 months.
Remuneration will depend on current experience.
