Systems Administrator

Position: Systems Administrator
Office location: Newlands, Cape Town
Division: Network Operations
Reporting to: Network Operations Manager
Permanent / Contract: Permanent
Required Start Date: ASAP

Summary of position:
You will be working in a team of 4 people responsible for the daily running
of Amobia's wireless network. Your tasks will include network management,
building and installing Linux servers, 1st and 2nd level customer support.

Technical Skills Required
. 1 Year Linux Experience
. TCP/IP Networking and Routing

Technical Skills which are Advantageous
. Debian and Ubuntu
. LPI qualifications
. Cisco switch and routers
. PHP/MySQL "LAMP" background, Wiki's, Mailing lists
. RAID configurations, Radius, LDAP, Apache
. Basic understanding of DNS and domain registration
. Mikrotik and wireless LAN technologies
