Ahh come now. Did anyone tell you *how* much better it is? It's

I'm sad though, I'd literally slit my wrists if I had to write PHP 
code, but on the other hand there are so many good opportunities out 
there for people who know it decently. And sure, I could pretty easily 
drop into the PHP world - but I don't think I'd be happy. Anyway, 
luckily I'm one of those rare people in SA being paid to do work in 
Python. One day other people will start to see the light.
