Linux Support / Administration (Basic Salary Negotiable)

Permanent position in the Information Technology sector in Cape Town in
South Africa (Western Cape)

requires
a Linux support person.


Requirements:
    . Basic Linux skills are essential [Red Hat & Fedora in use];
    . Knowledge of Sendmail, Bind DNS and Apache useful;
    . Bash scripting;
    . 2-3 yrs networking & Linux admin
    . Exposure to Windows 2000/2003;
    . Basic Cisco knowledge secures.
    . Certification preferred.
Responsibilities:


To provide in-house and client site support;

Hardware setups;

Building Mail Servers;

General daily maintenance of systems.


Role:


Most work will be done in-house and not on client site;

Ideally this candidate will become part of a strong small technical team
to
grow networking and Linux skills.
