Hi Cluggers

The Ubuntu Global Jam [1] is taking place from 2 to 4 October.
Previously Ubuntu had packaging jams, translation jams, bug jams, etc.
This time it's a bit more generic and also not fixed to one specific day.

There's been some talk on the lists recently about doing weekend and
Saturday events. I've wondered whether anyone would be interested in a
Saturday even on 3 October where a bunch of us get together for the day
with a few laptops and projectors and share tips and tricks of how we
use Ubuntu on a day-to-day basis. We could have topics ranging from
extreme beginner to more advanced users, perhaps even splitting the
group or alternating sessions if required.

Any suggestions? I suppose the most important part is getting a venue,
if anyone knows of a nice venue or have one they could offer, please let
me know.
