Ensure that host resolution (forward and reverse) works, or add the hosts
in question to your /etc/hosts file.

Are you getting pauses ssh'ing between them (the other telltale sign that
name resolution isn't working).

Basically, most ip/host/domain-based access control's will try
reverse-looking up the ip of the client.

I assume you have portmap etc running on both machines.
